1. Scholarship category, application conditions, amount and time limit

This scholarship is for students applying for long-term courses (Not including foundation class and Bachelor's class of Chinese teaching) of BLCC. The scholarship is divided into three levels by reducing students' tuition (the present tuition of BLCC is ¥9,600/semester) accordingly.

2. Application process

Method 1: Online Application:

Step 1: Register An CUCAS Account and login in

Step 2: Choose the Program You Want to Apply for This Scholarship
Note: only the programs with the "Scholarship Available" icon like below are available.

Step 3: Click the "Apply Now" Button.
Once you have chosen your program, you open the page of the program, then you will see the red "Apply Now" button like below, you can click it to start the online application.

Step 4: Fill the Application Form Online.
You can then fill the scholarship application form online. When you have done, click the "Next" button.

Step 5: Upload Documents.
Now you need to upload all documents for this scholarship. You will see what you need to provide clearly in this step.

Step 6: Make Payments
We cooperate with many online payment services, you can easily finish your payment through Bank transfer, Paypal and West Union.

Step 7: Submit Application
You will then go to the last step, just click the "Submit" button to submit your scholarship application.

For Non-degree Programs:

1．Course Application From for Prospective Students of BLCC.

3．Photocopy of valid passport.
(With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included)
4．Passport photo.
(A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant)
5．Highest degree academic transcript.
(Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.)
6．Highest degree certificate.
(Diploma in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.)
7．Health certificate.
(Photocopy of notarized foreigner physical examination record (for durations of study over 6 months). Or you can take physical examination after arriving at the university.)
8. Letter of recommendation.
From professor or associate professor or equivalents (You can download a template or sample here).

For Bachelor and Associate Degree Programs:

3. Notes

1. Students already receiving funding from any government or organization have no qualification to apply for this scholarship.
2. Application materials should be complete. Otherwise, it will be considered that the applicant gives up the right to get the scholarship.
3. Students winning the scholarship should notify CUCAS before the enrollment time with a written notice explaining the reasons if they fail to enroll. Otherwise, the award would be revoked and the students cannot apply for the scholarship again.
4. The award would be revoked if the recipient is expelled from the school for violation of Chinese laws or school rules.
